The soccer girls get 5 All-State and 6 All-League selections in post season awards.

The AVCTL soccer coaches met after the conclusion of the season for All-League and the Kansas High School Soccer Coaches Association (KHSSCA) have tabulated their votes for the 2022-23 All-State teams. The Wildcats had two players receive 4-1A All-State 1st Team honors, two players receive 4-1A All-State 2nd Team honors, and one player receive 4-1A All-State Honorable Mention honors. The Wildcats had almost the same number for AVCTL All-League, two 1st-Team, two 2nd-Team, and two Honorable Mentions.

Senior forward Emma Hoffman earned 1st team 4-1A All-State honors from the KHSSCA. Emma finished the season with a team-leading 12 goals on the season and 5 assists for 29 points total and 1.6 points per game. Hoffman also earned All-League Honorable Mention from the AVCTL coaches. Emma graduated from Udall High School this year and will continue her soccer career at Hutchinson Community College this fall.

Sophomore midfielder Jade Smallwood earned 1st team 4-1A All-State honors from the KHSSCA. Jade finished the season with 12 goals on the season for the Wildcats and 5 assists for 27 points total and 1.5 points per game. Smallwood also earned 1st Team All-League honors from the AVCTL coaches.

Senior goalkeeper Rylie Schiffelbein earned 2nd team 4-1A All-State honors from the KHSSCA. Rylie finished the season with a team-leading 161 saves on the season with an 85% save percentage and 1.6 goals against per game. Schiffelbein also earned 1st Team All-League from the AVCTL coaches. Rylie graduated from Mulvane this year and will continue her soccer career at Butler County Community College this fall.

Junior forward Teagan Garrison earned 2nd team 4-1A All-State honors from the KHSSCA. Teagan finished the season with 7 goals on the season for the Wildcats and 5 assists for 19 points total and 1.1 points per game. Garrison also earned 2nd Team All-League honors from the AVCTL coaches.

Junior defender Ashlyn Alumbaugh earned 4-1A All-State Honorable Mention honors from the KHSSCA. Ashlyn played middle defender for the Wildcats this season, moving to the middle when Garrison was moved from defense to forward. Ashlyn filled the role and had a great year anchoring the Mulvane defense. Ashlyn snuck up the field a couple of times this season and got a couple of assists as well. Alumbaugh also earned 2nd Team All-League honors from the AVCTL coaches.

Sophomore midfielder Cydnee Adams earned All-League Honorable Mention from the AVCTL coaches. Adams scored her first 2 goals this season of her varsity career, and they happened to be in the same game in the overtime win versus McPherson.
