The Men's Soccer Team grabbed their third win of the season last night as they travelled to Circle to face the Thunderbirds in an AVCTL D3/D4 league matchup. The Cats scored all of their goals in the first half as they defeated Circle 3-0 and Freshman Aiden McKee scored all 3 goals to get the hat trick. Senior Caleb Perkins, sophomore Chance Brown, and sophomore Jax Gerber all got an assist in the 3 goals. 
The second half was a defensive battle and the Cats held on for the 3-0 win. Goalkeeper Jesse Velota had 8 saves with 8 shots on goal.
"We did a better job of possessing the ball and working it up the field-which set up our goals. Chase Nash, Trevor Garcia, Cole Young, Ben Thorson, Ethan McElravy, and Jackson Hughes all contributed in the back-line to help Jesse Velotta get the shutout," said Coach Myers.
The Cats hosted Winfield on Tuesday, September 22nd and were blanked by the Vikings 0-5. Goalkeeper Jesse Velota finished with 9 saves with 14 shots on goal.
The Cats will host McPherson on Thursday, October 1st with the JV game starting at 5:00 PM and the varsity game following.
