The Mulvane Wrestling team traveled to Clearwater on Thursday, January 14th for a double dual against the Indians and the Rose Hill Rockets. The Wildcats had no trouble with the Indians, defeating them 75-0 and won an exciting close dual against the Rockets 41-39.

The Wildcats won 5 matches by fall against the Indians with Hunter Dietrich (Jr.), Chadwick Stahl (Sr.), Trent Moses (Jr.), Collin Wyant (So.), and Andy Huynh (So.) all pinning their opponent. Trenton Davis (So.), Chris Dietrich (So.), and Noah West (Fr.) all also defeated their opponents by decision.

The Cats were more evenly matched against the Rockets as there was only 2 points difference in the score as the Cats won 41-39. Chadwick Stahl (Sr.), Trent Moses (Jr.), Trenton Davis (So.), Ethan McElravy (Sr.), and Hunter Scott (Sr.) all defeated their opponents by fall. Hunter Dietrich (Jr.) defeated his opponent by Technical Fall and his match was ended early as he passed the 15 point limit over his opponent.

The Wildcats traveled to Labette Co. last Saturday, January 9th for a tournament and the Wildcats had dual's with Parsons, Labette Co., and Ottawa. The Wildcats defeated Parsons 66-9, Labette Co. 59-21, and fell to Ottawa 25-45. 

Against Parsons, Trent Moses (Jr.) and Ethan McElravy (Sr.) both won their matches by fall. Parsons had many open weight classes which led to many points for the Wildcats.
