It was a busy and grueling week for the Mulvane girls soccer team as they played 3 games in one week, a tough Buhler team, Wichita Collegiate, and Augusta. The Wildcats came out on top in all 3 games and are sitting at 6-0 on the season, the best start in the program's 20-year history.
The Wildcats jumped out on top of Buhler 4-1 in the first half, but Buhler fought back and scored 3 goals in the second half and held the Cats scoreless, forcing overtime with a 4-4 score. The Wildcats took the game off a Karlie Kanaga (So.) goal in overtime with the assist from Cassidey Coon (Sr.). The Wildcats were led by Kanaga who finished with 4 goals and 8 points.
Rylie Schiffelbein (So.) guarded the Wildcats net and finished the game with 14 saves with 18 shots on goal.

The next day, the Cats traveled to Wichita Collegiate for a league matchup with the Spartans. The Cats jumped out ahead with a 1-0 first half but the Spartans had trouble hanging in the second half as the Wildcats dropped in 4 more goals for the 5-1 win. The Wildcats were led by Karlie Kanaga who finished with 3 goals and 1 assist for 7 points.
Rylie Schiffelbein guarded the Wildcats net and finished the game with 19 saves with 20 shots on goal.

The JV girls fell to Collegiate 2-4. The Mulvane Goals were by Teagan Garrison (Fr.) and Kasey Dillon (Fr.) with an assist from Sonia Zetino-Ramos (Fr.).

After one day's rest, the girls traveled to Augusta and jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first half behind 2 goals each from Emma Kolbe (Jr.) and Emma Hoffman (So.). The Orioles were able to slip one in the net in the second half but the Cats held on for the 4-1 win. The Wildcats were led by Emma Hoffman who finished with 2 goals and 2 assists for 6 points.
Rylie Schiffelbein guarded the Wildcats net and finished the game with 10 saves with 11 shots on goal.
