Mulvane standout Layne Becker (2017) who plays for Sterling College earned Second Team All-KCAC honors for the second straight season, as the offensive lineman is now a three-time All-KCAC selection. The senior continued to lead the way on the offensive line for the Warriors that helped Sterling finish the season ranked No. 17 in the NAIA in total rushing offense (1,548 yards) and No. 27 in rushing offense per game (172 yards). Becker will make his way back to Sterling for another season to help anchor the offensive line.
"Layne has been an integral part of the offensive line since he arrived here at Sterling College," said Coach Chase Hansen (2004 Mulvane Alumnus)". "It has been a pleasure to coach a Wildcat alumnus and I am excited to see what the future holds for Layne after he finishes his career next season."
