Collier shoots best round of the season as the Cats finish 7th place as a team at the Cheney Invitational.

The varsity men's golf team traveled to Cherry Oaks Golf Course for the Cheney Invitational on Tuesday, May 4th. The Wildcats finished in 7th place as a team with a 375 team total in the 18-hole round. The Cats were led by Gerald Collier who shot a round of 87, his best round of the season, and finished in 19th place.

Mulvane Scores: (18 holes)  
 * Gerald Collier - 87 (19th place)
 * Ian Moore - 94 (28th place)
 * Trent Moses - 96 (33rd place)
 * Kyle Jones - 98 (36th place)
 * Layne Merchant - 106 (44th place)
 * Rhyse Tallman - 110 (49th place)

Wildcats: 375 - 7th place
Low Team Score: 326 - Sterling
Medalist: 69 - Luke Scheufler - Wichita Trinity

The varsity will participate in the AVCTL league tournament this Tuesday, May 11th at 9:00 AM. The JV had their AVCTL tournament last Friday and the results will be in the next publication.
