The MMS cross country team medal 4 at Andover. MHS have tough meet at Goddard.

The Mulvane High School Cross Country team traveled to Lake Afton last Thursday, September 23rd for the Goddard Invitational. "Although our times for the most part slipped a little, this was a tougher course including one part that goes straight up the face of the dam at Lake Afton," said Coach Roderick. "This was a competitive meet with a lot of schools that are larger than we are. We did not come home with any medals this time, but we did have some really great efforts out of our Mulvane runners."

The varsity girls were led by senior Kamryn Nolan who finished in 17th place with a time of 24:43. The varsity boys were led by senior Victor Salazar who finished in 22nd place with a time of 20:46. The girls team finished in 6th place while the boys team finished in 9th place.

The Middle School cross country team traveled to Andover last Tuesday, September 21st for the Andover Invitational. The 8th-grade boys finished in 5th place as a team and were led by Johnathan Wilson who finished in 3rd place with a time of 8:58.62 in the 1.5 mile run. The 8th-grade girls finished in 6th place as a team and were led by Makenzie Allen with a time of 10:51.49.

The 7th-grade girls finished in 8th place and were led by Isabella Landwehr who finished in 17th place with a time of 7:32.09 in the 1 mile run. The 7th-grade boys finished in 8th place and were led by Ethan Hankins who finished in 5th place with a time of 6:07.70.
