The Mulvane soccer team came off a 4-game win streak, faces 3 tough opponents in a row.

The Mulvane men's soccer team, coming off a 4-game win streak, faced some tough opponents in the last 3 games. The boys hosted Berean Academy last Thursday, October 13th for a non-league game. The Cats battled the Warriors to the very end, but Berean was able to slip in two goals very late in the second period. Alex Dial guarded the Wildcat net and finished the game with 7 saves with 9 shots on goal.

The Cats faced Augusta last Tuesday and fell 0-2 to the very good Orioles. Alex Dial guarded the Wildcat net and finished the game with 12 saves with 14 shots on goal. The Wildcats faced Winfield on Thursday, October 6th, and were able to hold the Vikings to only 1 goal, but could not get one in the net, falling 0-1. Alex Dial guarded the Wildcat net and finished the game with 12 saves with 13 shots on goal.

The Wildcats are sitting at 6-9 on the season and 5-4 in AVCTL D3/D4 league play. The Cats will host Winfield on Tuesday, October 18th for senior night and the last home game of the regular season.
