The Mulvane men's soccer team made the long trip to Topeka to face Topeka Hayden in the first match of regionals. The Cats battled hard for the entire game, but Hayden was able to slip one goal in late in the second half and hang for the 1-0 win. Alex Dial guarded the Wildcats net and finished the game with 12 saves with 13 shots on goal. "The end of the season is never easy," said Coach Jesse Myers. "I am very proud to have coached these young men. They played with class and passion for 80 minutes."
