When asked, "what did you all do, to get ready for this season?" The girls on the Mulvane High School Team all had the same answer; they bowled in leagues.

If their season opener was any indicator, the league bowling the ladies did this past fall and summer made a definite impact! They broke three school records in the opener! However, the girls assured us that they are not satisfied with their initial success and still want to improve as the season goes.

Leading the team this year, are these three ladies pictured to the left. Kiley White (left), bowled a 257, which set the school high game record. Larissa Ester (middle), shot a 702 series, which broke the school's high series record. Shortly after Larissa finished, Maddison Osenbaugh (right), finished with a 732 series, to take the spot as the new record holder. Those scores helped the team finish with a 2571, which is the highest in the state from any varsity girls team so far this year.

"This girls team has the capability of being the best team Mulvane has ever had. I'm impressed with how this team has been bowling and working together," said, Mulvane's head coach, Lance Heath.

The boys leading series scorer was Wakinyan Shrubshall with a 612, followed by Matt Temple (569), Hunter Rudebusch (562), Austin O'Daniel (541), Jordan Blaine (516), and Ryan Dixson (371).
