The Mulvane Girls Wrestling team made the long trip to Burlington on Saturday, January 7th for their first tournament after winter break. The Wildcats had a great day on the mats scoring 100 points and finishing in 7th place as a team out of 22 teams and also finished with 3 individual golds on the day.

Sophomore Leiannah Landreth finished on the top of the podium in the 115 lb weight class with all 3 wins by fall and remains undefeated this season at 16-0. Senior Kammie Schanz also grabbed the gold in the 145 lb weight class with all 3 wins by fall and she is also undefeated this season at 15-0. Junior Katelyn Wyant finished in 1st place in the 155 lb weight class with all 4 wins by fall and she is sitting at 9-1 on the season.
