The Mulvane girls wrestling team takes 1st place at Wichita South tournament.

The Mulvane girls wrestling team found their groove this past Saturday as they took the gold in the Wichita South Tournament against many 5A and 6A schools with 115 total points. Sophomore Leiannah Landreth continued her undefeated season in fine fasion as she finished on top of the 115 lb weight class with all 3 wins by fall and is currently 29-0.
Senior Larissa Gonzalez grabbed the gold in the 125 lb weight class with 2 wins by fall and 1 win by decision and she's sitting at 24-4 on the season. Junior Kasey Dillon took the top spot in the 135 lb weight class with 3 wins by fall and is sitting at 23-7 this season. Senior Kammie Schanz also remains undefeated this season at 32-0 and won the 145 lb weight class with all 4 wins by fall.

The Mulvane High School wrestling team traveled to Circle for a dual on Thursday, January 26th. The Wildcats won 5 matches against Circle and won with a final score of 30-24. Leiannah Landreth, Larissa Gonzalez, and Kammie Schanz all won their match by fall.
