Former Mulvane Wildcat standout Olivia Naccarato (2015) finished up her Senior Volleyball season at Friends University yesterday as the Falcons as their tournament ended with a loss to Ottawa in the KCAC semifinals. The Falcons ended their season with a 22-21 record (5-7 in conference play).

Earlier this week, KCAC announced their post season honors and Olivia as well as 3 other Falcons were named to the All-KCAC team. Olivia was awarded with All-KCAC Honorable Mention honors.

From Friends University article:

Naccarato also bested her single-season best output with 253 kills this season, including a career-best 17 kills in a narrow loss to top-seeded and 17-ranked McPherson College (Sept. 29).

A Mulvane, Kan. native, Naccarato was also big defensively, coming in right behind Swinicki in fourth place in the KCAC with 111 blocks on the season.

Olivia finished the 2018 season with 134 games played, 268 kills, and 709 total attempts, 23.4 attack percentage. She finished her career at Friends (2017 & 2018) with 243 games played, 455 kills, 1344 total attempts, and 17.4 attack percentage.

We will miss following Olivia's college career and congrats to her on her college volleyball accomplishments.

I asked Olivia to sum up her volleyball career:

When I was younger I thought college athletics was completely out of reach for me, but I knew it was something I wanted so badly. I am so grateful for my time at Barton and Friends and all the coaches and teammates that have joined me on this journey. This past 4 years have been a blast and I’ve made memories and friends to last a lifetime. But it all started in Mulvane. Go wildcats!!
