It has been almost two years since the Mulvane Track & Field team has been able to compete and the head coach Robin Williams is excited to get the kids competing again in their first meet on Tuesday, March 30th, 2021 at the Augusta Invitational. Coach Williams took over the head coaching duties from long-time coach Dale Landes last year, but the season was canceled due to the pandemic.
"Everyone is looking forward to competing this year since we lost all of last season to Covid. The kids have been great so far showing hard work and discipline, and getting better every day!" said Coach Williams.
Senior Campbell Williams and juniors Addison Whisler and Amber Hansen are the three returning Wildcats with state experience, Williams in the 4x400 and 4x800 and open 800, Hansen in the 4x400, and Whisler in the pole vault. The Cats have 7 seniors, 22 juniors, 12 sophomores, and 22 freshmen this season.
