The Mulvane Track team traveled to Circle last Thursday for a large meet with 11 schools ranging from 3A to 5A. The women's team finished in 6th place with 37 points and the men's team finished in 8th place with 27 points.
The Wildcats had 2 first-place medals, 1 second-place medal, and 2 third-place medals. Chase Nash grabbed a 1st place medal in discus with a throw of 133 feet 3 inches. The girls 4x800 meter relay team of Amber Hansen, Delaney Hamm, Reagan Sparks, and Campbell Williams finished in first place with a time of 10:27.76.
Campbell Williams finished in second place in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:34.73. Amber Hansen finished in 3r place in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:02.35. The men's 4x800 meter relay team of Victor Salazar, Chris Dietrich, Matthew Eggleston, and Jacob Duncan finished in 3rd place with a time of 9:04.13.
