Various media outlets have released their All-State baseball teams for the 2021 season and 5 Mulvane baseball players earned 4A All-State recognition from Sports in Kansas (kansas-sports.com).
Mason Ellis (Jr.) earned 4A All-State 2nd Team honors for outfield. Mason finished the season with a .278 average, 15 hits, 4 doubles, 1 triple, 1 home run, 7 stolen bases, and 9 RBI's.
Hunter Seier (Jr.) earned 4A All-State 2nd Team honors for pitcher. Hunter finished the season with a 2.71 ERA, 34 strikeouts, 2 wins, 2 losses, and 1 save.
Tab Creekmore (Sr.) earned 4A All-State Honorable Mention. Tab finished with a .456 average with 31 hits, 9 doubles, 4 triples, 19 RBIs, and 14 stolen bases.
Parker Richardson (So.) earned 4A All-State Honorable Mention. Parker finished the season with a team-leading .484 average with 31 hits, 4 doubles, 1 triple, and 26 RBIs.
Julien Myers (So.) earned 4A All-State Honorable Mention. Julien finished the season with a 1.38 ERA, 2 wins, 1 save, and 15 strikeouts. .275 batting avg, 14 hits, 10 RBIs.
The Wildcats finished the season with a 15-8 record and were the 2021 regional champs and made a trip to the 4A State tournament. With many returning starters next year, the Cats will be looking to build on the success from this season.
