The MMS girls volleyball team faced some tough teams this past week. The 8A girls suffered their first losses of the season against Prairie Hills and Wellington but are still sitting at a nice 9-3 on the season and 5-3 in Patriot League play. The 8B team faced their first loss of the season against Prairie Hills and are sitting at 11-1 on the season and 7-1 in league play. The 7A girls fell in their last couple of triangular's and are sitting at 4-8 on the season and 1-7 in league play. The 7B team also fell in all their games in the last couple of triangular's and are sitting at 2-10 on the season and 1-7 in league play.

The MMS volleyball teams face Prairie Hills and Haysville west in a triangular on Monday, September 7th. The 8A girls suffered their first loss of the season to Prairie Hills but split on the evening with a win against Haysville West. The 8B girls swept the evening with wins over the Gorillas and Crusaders. The 7A girls and 7B girls were both swept on the evening with losses to both Haysville West and Prairie Hills.

The girls will be back on the court for the last triangular of the season on Monday, October 11th, and will face Clearwater and Wellington. The 8th-grade girls will be traveling to Clearwater and 7th-grade girls will be traveling to Wellington, matches starting at 4:30 PM.
