The Mulvane Track & Field team hosted the AVCTL D4 League meet on Friday, May 13th at Lyle Couch stadium. The Wildcats girl's team finished in 5th place with 18 points and the boy's team finished in 6th place with 45 points.
The Wildcats finished in the top three in 7 events. Chase Nash finished in 2nd place in the discus with a throw of 149 feet 2 inches. Victor Salazar finished in 2nd place in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:08.42. Jacob Wilson finished in 2nd place in the 3200-meter run with a time of 10:57.75. Bella Larraga finished in 3rd place in the Javelin with a throw of 109 feet 6 inches.
The Wildcats finished in 3rd place in three relays. The men's 4x400 meter relay team (Salazar, Dietrich, Palmer, Duncan) grabbed 3rd with a time of 3:44.05. The men's 4x800 meter relay team (Dietrich, Duncan, Eggleston, Salazar) finished in 3rd place with a time of 9:00.45. The women's 4x800 relay team (Clark, Gerber, Hernandez, Hamm) finished in 3rd place with a time of 12:01.58.
