The state-wide and regional baseball awards have been announced and the Wildcats have 2 players earn additional awards from the 2022 season.
Senior Mason Ellis earned 1st Team 4A All-State honors for outfield from the Sports In Kansas publication. Mason also earned 4A All-State 2nd team from the Kansas Association of Baseball Coaches and All-Metro 3rd Team from the Wichita Eagle which honors the best players in the Wichita area. Ellis finished the season with an impressive .492 batting average with 30 hits, 4 doubles, 2 triples, 3 home runs, 14 RBIs, and 29 runs scored.
Senior Hunter Seier earned 2nd Team 4A All-State honors for outfield from the Sports In Kansas publication. Hunter also earned 4A All-State 2nd team from the Kansas Association of Baseball Coaches and All-Metro 3rd Team from the Wichita Eagle which honors the best players in the Wichita area. Seier finished the season with an impressive .492 batting average with 29 hits, 6 doubles, 4 triples, 1 home run, 20 RBIs, and 23 runs scored.
