The Mulvane Middle School volleyball teams had their 3rd triangular of the season last Monday, September 12th with the 7th grade hosting their first home triangular and the 8th graders traveling to Rose Hill. The 7A girls started the evening with an exciting match with Augusta, winning the first game 26-24 and the second 25-14. 
The girl's second match of the evening was against Rose Hill. The Cats won the first game 25-16 but fell in the second and third games 17-25 and 10-15.
The 7B girls took the Orioles to three games in the first match of the evening but fell 1-2 (25-20, 15-25, & 9-15). The evening match against the Rockets also went to three games, but the Cats came out on top with a 2-1 win (25-20, 18-25, 15-9).

The 8th-grade girls made the short trip to Rose Hill and kicked off the evening with an exciting match over the Orioles, winning the first game 26-24, falling in the second game 20-25, but winning the third game 15-11. They completed the sweep on the evening with a 2-0 win over the host Rockets 25-20 and 25-21.
The 8B girls played the Rose Hill Rockets twice due to a shortage of players from Augusta. The Cats lost the first match against the Rockets in two games 15-25 and 13-25. The Wildcats rebounded in the nightcap and got the win in three games 18-25, 25-20, and 15-5.

The 7A girls are sitting at 3-3 on the season and 0-2 in league play. The 7B girls are sitting at 4-2 on the season and 2-0 in league play. The 8A girls are sitting at 4-2 on the season and 2-0 in league play. The 8B girls are sitting at 3-3 on the season and 1-1 in league play.
The girls will be back in action on Monday, September 19th, and the 7th graders will travel to Clearwater and the 8th graders will travel to Ark City.
