The Mulvane High School Track & Field team had their first meet of the season at home, the Mulvane Invitational on Thursday, March 21st, and the Wildcats finished with 2 first-place finishes, 5 second-place finishes, and 9 third-place finishes. Kaden Palmer grabbed first place in the 400-meter dash with a time of 52.64. McKenzie Storment finished on top in the pole vault with a height of 5-0.
Hunter Landis finished in 2nd place in the 200-meter dash with a time of 24.14. Ethan Hankins finished in 2nd in the 3200-meter run with a time of 10:56.72. Fisher Dye, Gunner Uhrig, Kaden Palmer, and Hunter Landis finished in 2nd place in the 4x100 meter relay with a time of 45.07. Ethan Hankins, Cole Zimmerman, Jonathan Wilson, and Jacob Wilson finished in 2nd place in the 4x800 meter relay with a time of 8:57.02. Hunter Heckart finished in 2nd place in the pole vault with a height of 7-6.
Jacob Wilson finished in 3rd place in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:15.99. Cole Zimmerman finished in 3rd place in the 1600 meter run with a time of 5:09.59. Jonathan Wilson finished in 3rd place in the 3200 meter run with a time of 11:11.74. Garrett Booe finished in 3rd place in the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 45.00. Lane Rogers, Kurtis Caruthers, James Inkelaar, and Matthew Eggleston finished in 3rd place in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:44.21. Hunter Landis, Garrett Booe, Gunner Uhrig, and Kaden Palmer finished in 3rd place in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:44.21. Fisher Dye finished in 3rd place in the long jump with a distance of 19-3. Saleen Jacques, Emma Jacobs, McKenzie Storment, and Sierra Schmitz finished in 3rd place in the 4x100 meter relay with a time of 58.75. Bella DeLaCruz finished in 3rd place in the javelin with a distance of 82-9.
