The Mulvane softball team wrapped up their season with a double header against Wellington in a non-league battle. The Wildcats score 6 runs by the 3rd inning and kept them coming as they took the first game 11-1 in 6 innings. Senior pitcher Jalin Lavers pitched a no-hitter against the Crusaders and faced 24 batters with one earned run stemming from a walk and nine strikeouts.
The Wildcats collected 15 hits in the game and Regan Witt went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the Wildcats in hits. Makaylen Warner, Olivia Ellis, India Downs, Addison Mackey, Avrie Warner, and Jalin Lavers all recorded two hits each in the game for the Wildcats.
The Wildcats grabbed 11 RBIs in the game with Avrie Warner knocking in five runners to lead the Wildcats in RBIs. Jalin Lavers finished with two RBIs and Makaylen Warner, Olivia Ellis, Addison Mackey, and Emma Kendrick each had one RBI for the Wildcats.

The nightcap was a back-and-forth game as the lead changed a few times. The Cats found themselves down 4-8 in the 4th inning but were able to score 6 runs with 2 outs to take the lead and added 1 more run in the 5th inning and held on for the 11-8 win.
Jalin Lavers earned the win for the Mulvane Wildcats. She tossed 3.2 innings, giving up zero runs, one hit, walking zero, and nine strikeouts. Peyton Baggett made the start for the Cats and pitched 3.1 innings, giving up six earned runs, five hits, and four strikeouts.
The Wildcats had 15 hits in the game and Jalin Lavers went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead the Mulvane Wildcats in hits. Regan Witt, Makaylen Warner, Madison Phipps, Avrie Warner, Olivia Ellis, India Downs, and Addison Mackey each had hits in the game for the Cats. Makaylen Warner had an inside-the-park home run in the game.

In between the games, the Cats celebrated Senior Night and acknowledged the 3 seniors on the team: Jalin Lavers, Emma Kendrick, and Peyton Baggett.
The Wildcats finished their season with a 15-5 record and 7-3 in league play, finishing in 2nd place in AVCTL D3. The Cats will find out their regional opponent this weekend and will host their regional game on Monday. The JV team finished their season with a 5-13 record.
