The girls softball team struggled to get the bats rolling against Clearwater, fall in both games.

Mulvane fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 1-9 loss to Clearwater on Thursday, April 1st as the Cats hosted the Indians at home. 
 
The Cats collected 4 hits in the game. Tenley Canfield, Jalin Lavers, Avrie Warner, and India Downs each collected hits in the game for the Cats, and Canfield scored the only run for the Wildcats.
 
Mulvane stole 2 bases during the game with Jalin Lavers and Addison Mackey both recording stolen bases.

Jalin Lavers was in the pitcher's circle for Wildcats. The hurler lasted seven innings, allowing 11 hits and six earned runs while striking out six.

In game 2, the Wildcats had trouble getting the bats rolling as they fell 0-18 to the Indians. Tenley Canfield recorded the only hit for the Mulvane Wildcats. Addison Mackey led things off in the pitcher's circle for the Cats. Mackey surrendered 18 runs on 18 hits over five innings, striking out one. 

The girls will be back in action on Tuesday, April 6th as they will travel to Wellington for a double header, starting at 4:30 PM.
